Valentines Day

We had such a great Valentine's Day. We woke up with the boys and just hung out in our jammies for a little while. Brayden decided he wanted pancakes for breakfast so I made them pink, heart-shaped chocolate chip pancakes. After breakfast I had a heart clue hidden under Brayden's place mat. That was the start of our Valentine's Day Treasure Hunt. It was so much fun. I cut out hearts and wrote clues on them for 10 different places to go. The final place for the boys to go was up to their bedroom where I had small little Valentine's Day treasure baskets sitting on their beds. It was just small little presents, but they had a lot of fun running around trying to find clues.

Later on that evening we went over to Dave & Cynthia's house and had dinner, and then the kids decorated cookies. They had a blast, but they were WIRED on sugar when it was over. I wasn't able to get any pictures on our camera because our batteries kept dying. If I can get some from them, I will put them up.

I am so greatful for my wonderful husband and my 2 amazing boys. Things in life are hard right now, but I am so blessed to have them in my life. They help me keep my head up and plowing on when I feel like nothing is working out. Hopefully, life will start to get better soon.
