Updates & Thankful Thursday

I have been falling pretty behind lately with keeping everyone up to date through our blog. Life around here has been very hectic and busy.

Within the last 1.5 months Chris was laid off from his job and has spent a bit of time in Washington working for my dad. I have also started back to school taking a Human Anatomy class. I am in school Mon, Wed & Friday from 1:00 - 1:50 PM and then also on Thursday from 8:00 PM to 9:50 PM. I can definitely say this class is a CHALLENGE.

On top of being a "single" mom to our 2 kids while Chris is away, as well as going to school, I am also working a part time position at The Children's Place. They have been amazing and have worked with me while Chris was away. I go back to work there after about a months leave on Saturday. I am actually REALLY REALLY enjoying going back there. I miss the girls I work with, and the atmosphere.

In addition to everything else our female Chihuahua had a little of puppies (2 boys & 1 girl). We also moved Candace & her girls out after Anthony passed away, I accepting a new calling in Church as Primary Secretary, and I also accepting a position on my moms group (Saltlakecitymommies.com) as a West Valley City Co-Moderator. As you can see it has been a wild ride.

Within the next couple of weeks Chris will be home and finished working in Washington. Then will be the challenge of trying to find a position here for him. I am hoping as things start to settle down again I will be able to post more often so everyone can see what is going on.

THANKFUL THURSDAY

1) I am SO very thankful for my wonderful husband who is willing to sacrifice and go to Washington to work right now. I know it is very hard on him being away from the boys that much, but he does it to help keep us afloat right now.

2) My daycare provider who loves and takes care of my children during the day while we are at work. She has been an amazing friend to me, as well as a great and loving person for my kids.

3) The Church. The members have been amazing and have been there with words of encouragement during these struggling times. They have helped up and supported us when we have needed it. I am so very blessed to be a member of the LDS church.

4) My family. All of my family are amazing and wonderful people. Whether they live here in Utah, or they are elsewhere, I love them all dearly and am so happy when I get to spend time with them.

5) I am grateful that I am able to have a roof over my head, a vehicle to drive, food to eat and clothes to wear. These are basic things, and sometimes I am frustrated that we pay so much for the house and car, but I am grate that we are able to have them.
