It's the holidays!!

Well we had a wonderful Thanksgiving day. I cooked the turkey and we had Dave & Cynthia over for dinner. It was a very relaxing day until I had to leave for work at The Children's Place for "Black Friday". I have never shopped a "Black Friday", or worked on one. I was there from 8 PM Thursday night until 4:00 AM on Friday morning. It was CRAZY how many people wanted to come and stand in line to buy just a few items and only save a few bucks. Oh well, to each his own. Friday morning after I woke up we drove up to North Pole Pines in Farr West, Utah to cut down our Christmas Tree (a tradition we do each year on the day after Thanksgiving). The boys had a ton of fun walking around trying to find "our" tree.

Once we found our tree Chris set to work cutting it down.

Boston is very interested in Chris cutting down the tree.

Brayden helped cut off the little twigs at the bottom so we could drag it out.

After we got the tree home we got it set up and ready to decorate. Boston ended up going to bed so he didn't really participate but Brayden had a lot of fun putting stuff on the tree. We gave him the candy canes to put on and he decided to put a whole bunch in one little area, as you can see. We drank candycane hot chocolate, listened to Christmas music and got the house all festive.

It was so much fun spending time with the family and getting the holiday decorations out. Christmas is my favorite holiday! I love all the joy and happiness the surrounds people during the holidays. I love the smells, flavors and sights. May you all have a wonderful holiday season!
