Friday for dinner I made "Ghosts in the Graveyard" (since Halloween night we always eat chili and potato soup at Brett & Julies - which by the way Brett makes the best chili I have ever tasted!!! It is seriously my FAVORITE!!!). It was fun and turned out pretty cute. (It is just Shepards Pie with the base potatoes colored green with food coloring).

Brayden and Boston had so much fun on Halloween. Brayden picked out both his and Boston's costumes. Brayden wanted to be spiderman but since he had already been that, we told him he couldn't do it. He decided then he would be black spiderman (Venom) and Boston would be the "good" spiderman. It was adorable.

All the cousins. Brayden, Makayla, Boston and Sommer.

Getting ready to trick-or-treat at Brett & Julie's house. Halloween is one of their most favorite holidays and the put a lot of time and effort into decorating their house. It shows because every year their house looks amazing. We love going up there and visiting them and eating (once again the BEST) chili and potato soup.

Boston's ready!

He didn't want to tuck his mask in to the body suit because he would lift it up in between houses.

Boston LOVED trick or treating. He had NO fear of going up to people's houses and getting candy out of their bowls. I think me depriving him of any candy and most sugary things all year long had something to do with that. It was cute. He would go up to houses and try and stuff the candy in his mouth before the turned around to walk away.

Aunt Becca let me us her pirate costume for the evening. Brett & Julie's neighbor decorated his house all up and this was one of the decorations. I fit right in!

After we left Brett & Julie's house we went to one of Kirk & Suzanne's friends houses and spent some time with them. We got to take the boys with a couple of the kids from there to a few houses to trick-or-treat as well. Kirk was dressed up as a priest & Suzanne dressed up as a pregnant nun. It was pretty damn funny!
We had such an amazing night. It is so much fun to spend time with family (and get candy to eat)! I love being able to take my kids out trick-or-treating and see the joy in their faces as they run from house to house.
