God Plan v. My Plan

Well life is again an always evolving and changing thing. I am a planner. I always have plans thought out in detail of how things are going to go. Slowly I am learning that life doesn't always follow the path that I chose for it.

Our plan was to move into my sister-in-laws basement for 2 years or abouts until we were debt free, and then we would look into getting a house that would be a permanent residence until the kids were done with school. Also in those 2 years I would go to school and finish my pre-requisites for the RN program and the working towards getting my RN.

Well plans have changed. There was a problem with the house they were going to get. As of now, our house is on the market (no offers yet though) with no where to go if we were to get one. Our plan is up in the air, and it is a very hard thing for me to do. I like to be in control and organized with "the plan".

I think this is a time to step back, and let the plan fall into place. Here is a GREAT quote from Mother Theresa that I am going to work on adopting as my moto for times such as these:

It is His work. I am like a little pencil in God's hand. That is all. He does the thinking. He does the writing. The pencil has nothing to do with it. The pencil has only to be allowed to be used.

So, in this very moment, and I going to try and let go. I am not going to plan anything. I am just going to let god decide where I go from her. I am putting all my trust in him and giving this moment over to him. I am sure he knows better than I do about what he is doing.
