Visiting the Fire Station

Yesterday morning I have the pleasure of joining Brayden and his preschool class on their field trip to the Taylorsville Fire Station. We had a lot of fun. They talked to the kids about the importance of being having fire drills and all about fire safety. Brayden (and I) got to ride in the fire truck around the parking lot. Then they gave each kid a chance to spray the fire hose. It was quite fun day.

Here they are showing the kids their fire suits. The fireman then crawled around on the floor and up to each kid to show them that they may look scary at first, but they really are not scary. They said a lot of kids get scared when they come in all dressed up.

Brayden's whole class with the 3 fireman.

Brayden inside the firetruck while we were pulling out to circle the parking lot.

How adorable is he in his fire jacket and helmet getting ready to shoot the hose!

Overall it was a blast. Brayden was POOPED out at the end of the day. He was actually asleep when I picked him up from daycare. Learning is SUCH hard work!
