This morning we woke up to the 1st snow of the year! It was just a light dusting but it has snowed off and on for most of the day (not sticking really though). The boys just had to go outside and play in it for a little while. Seeing the snow makes me think of all the joys and smells and fun of the holidays! I am so excited for the holidays this year. I am excited to Boston to get Christmas a little bit more. I am excited for the food and family on Thanksgiving. I am excited for the beautiful white snow (though not excited for it on our roads). I am excited to go cut down our Christmas tree and sleep under it that first night it is up. So many things to be excited for.
Sadly we are not going to be making it to Washington this year (it is our year up there) for Christmas though. So we wont be up there for Christmas for 2 more years, but we are hoping to be able to at least visit sometime during the summer next year.
