For breakfast I made #4 pancakes (for the 4th) and (what are supposed to look like, but dont really) firework pancakes.

Here is Boston enjoying his strawberries and grapes

The boys in their 4th of July t-shirts

It's amazing how fast time goes, and how big they are both getting.

Boston is just starting to learn how to walk. He is getting really good at taking 5 steps or so, but then he just gets lazy and sits down. Here he is standing up.

Brayden smiling for the camera. He LOVES to have his picture taken & always tried to cheese it up.

Boston looking on at big brothers Popsicle. He had a taste and as you can see......one taste was not enough.

The family (with Brayden cheesing it up)

We watched 3 or 4 very small fireworks before Boston went to bed so he could at least see something. He loved them and was smiling the whole time.

Bella's puppies were also born. As you can see, she had 3. 2 girls and 1 boy. They are just barely over a week old and still dont have their eyes or ears open yet. I cant believe at this moment (and for the next 7 weeks) I have SIX dogs at my house.

You can see that summer has finally arrived. Sunday Chris set up the swimming pool Grandma Hemmingson bought Brayden when she was in town, as well as the slip-n-slide. Brayden had a blast playing outside in the heat.

Going down the slip-n-slide

We also found out, after Boston got an ear infection, he is allergic to Penicillin. Its hard to tell from the picture but he broke out with a ton of red bumps all over his body. I was worried that he had chicken pox. Luckily it was just a reaction to his meds.

Chris & Cynthia up Big Cottonwood Canyon

An amazing picture I took of Brayden while we were eating lunch up Big Cottonwood Canyon with Dave & Cynthia.

Things are continually moving at a fast pace around our house. In addition to Bella having her puppies & Boston trying to walk, Brayden just finished his first 2 sessions of swimming lessons. I get a break from that for 2 weeks and then we start back again towards the end of July. I am throwing a baby shower for my close friend in a couple weeks, and I just received a calling in the Church as a member of the "Enrichment Night Planning Committee". I am very excited about it. We get together about once a month and do many activities.
Chris & I are also getting down into our Financial Peace University classes. I will also be starting back at Salt Lake Community College in August, and Brayden will be starting his 4 year old preschool program in September, as well as starting soccer.
Hope everyone is having a safe and wonderful summer. I will catch up much sooner next time around.
