I just have had a lot of things on my mind that I just felt like writing about.
1. CHURCH: Lately I have really had a lot on my mind about going to church, god and things like that. We have been having the Mormon missionaries over quite a bit and I have been taking all the discussion for the LDS church. I find that a LOT of what the Mormons believe in (as I can see) is the same as all religions out there (with some varying difference). So, I have been praying regularly and attending church, but I am still trying to decide which church is truly right for me. I dont want the LDS church to influence my views because they are the "majority" church in Utah, but I also dont feel that it is fair for people who have never actually sat and STUDIED about all the different religions to pass judgments on others. If I decide to get baptized in the LDS church, I know that a lot of people will ponder "WHY". But....for this I will continue to pray and hope that Jesus will lead me to where I am supposed to be in my life.
2. OUTSIDE FAMILY: Here I just want to say how THANKFUL I am for such an AMAZING family. I love my family and I am so greatful that they all are who they are. I am so blessed to have my Grandma and Grandpa Hemmingson who took us as their own grandchildren. They are AMAZING and wonderful people and I cannot express how much they have touched and influenced my life. I am also so greatful to my parents, who in their own ways (all 4 of them) raised me to be the person I am today. I am also so blessed to have married into the in-law family that I did. They all accepted my right away and have been so wonderful to me for these past 7 years.
3. OUR FAMILY: I am so totally in love with my 2 little boys and my amazing husband. Chris has been such a rock for me and has stood with me through hard times and easy times. Our 2 little boys and so amazing and show me every day an undying love and happieness that fills my heart. I would someday (soon- but obviously only when it is possible financially) add to our family. I am excited to watch our family grow and change every day that comes by.
4. LIFE: I am just happy an content with life at the moment. There are, obviously, many struggles we are dealing with right now. We are on food stamps and are struggling to pay our bills, but we have love in our home and joy (most of the time) in our hearts. The days are getting warmer so it is really lifting my spirits as well. I just (as of yesterday) stopped taking my anti-depressants so I hope my euphoric mood lasts :)
I hope each and everyone one can look into their lives and find the small blessings and many things to be thankful for.
